My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at portland resorts hotel portharcourt on our visit from UK. After a disappointing one night stay at another hotel, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff, oyibo, greeted us with warm smiles and a helping hand, instantly making us feel at home.
Our room was spacious, immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the little touches, such as the high-quality toiletries.
Meeting the CEO, Bar. Azubuike, for the first time is an unforgettable experience. He personally took charge of our wellbeing. He’s such a charismatic gentle soul that you will hardly guess that he owns this immaculate edifice. On hearing of our earlier disappointment in another hotel, he upgraded our service room. Never a dull moment with him
The hotel offers a range of amenities that catered to our every need. The infinity pool overlooking the open bar was a real highlight. We spent many afternoons lounging there, enjoying the poolside service and delicious cocktails. The spa also deserves a mention—my massage was heavenly, and the peaceful atmosphere helped melt away all stress.
Dining at the hotel was a treat! We enjoyed complementary breakfast at the restaurant, with very polite staffs. Dinner was even better, with a diverse menu featuring local seafood and international cuisine. We especially loved the live music that accompanied our meals.

What truly set portland apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. They were always eager to help with a genuine smile.
Not to forget, the personal night club ia a banger. Whaoo.

It was an epic experience. My family and I stayed in Portland for a night this Christmas. The staffs was polite and very honest. I left a huge amount in my room while I lodged out. On my was to Owerri I remembered I left the money and its about 2 hrs late, guess what yall!!! my money was still there and intac. Thank you all Portland staff we appreciate ur dedication, hardwork and honesty.

Few days back I referred Portland Hotel to my friend who just arrived the country with her family enroute the village for Christmas vacation and reserved 2 rooms for them.
After checking out the next morning and arriving the village, she frantically called me that she forgot USD3,200 under the bible in her room.
I made just one phone call to the Hotel giving them details of the room and within minutes, I was asked to come pick up the money from the Reception desk. Intact.
This is just unparalleled for me.
As one who holds a family membership at Portland Hotel, my children and I have at some point or the other left valuable items behind, from patronizing the swimming pool, gym, cinema or the bar. I rest assured that they are safe and just a phone call away.
